Cable USA has long been a leader in the high temperature industrial wire and cable markets. This market ranges from our 538°C FG2000 to our 200°C Soaking Pit cables, and from our 200°C Tray cables to our 450°C Thermocouple cables. Cable USA's high temperature industrial products are found in many global markets including steel mills, petrochemical plants, refineries, mining, glass mills, and many others.
Soaking Pit Cables
Originally designed for use in harsh and extreme steel mill environments, these high temperature multi-conductor cables are ideal for slag cars, ladle cars, cranes, soaking pits, and glass plants. Our soaking pit cables are engineered to provide unusually long service life under high heat (200°C) and flexing applications, and are designed to withstand the abuse of molten splash. The flexing capabilities range from reeling and unreeling of equipment to continuous flexing applications, including heavy-duty festoon applications. It's the cable preferred by major steel companies.
Tray Cables
Cable USA manufactures a product line of high temperature tray cables ranging in temperature from 150°C to 260°C that are suited for harsh industrial environments. These cables offer high temperature protection, low flammability, chemical and sunlight resistance, and excellent resistance to cut through, crush and abrasion.

| Specialty |
| |
Cable USA is not just a high temperature cable manufacturer. By using our unique compounds and capabilities, we are proficient in custom designing specialty cables for non-high temperature applications. Our products are designed for exact applications to extreme chemicals, abusive environments, and harsh temperatures (both hot and cold). Cable USA provides an expansive list of specialty cables that range from coil cords to flat festoons, and from high conductor count composite cables to direct burial armored cables.
Transit Cables
In accordance with Specification 940801, Cable USA's transit cables are manufactured, tested, and conform to the proven performance of ETFE fluoropolymer for the insulation and jacketing materials on these cables. ETFE has excellent characteristics that resist attack by chemicals and solvents that can cause rapid deterioration of other materials such as rubber, plastics, and cross-linked polyolefins. ETFE also has excellent mechanical strength, stiffness, and abrasion resistance. ETFE has a broad continuous use temperature range from -150°F to 300°F (-100°C to 150°C). Our cables are used in a variety of applications including train control rooms, operational control centers, wayside cases, instrumentation wire, and cable for use in signal equipment and systems.
Coil Cords
Cable USA specializes in abrasion resistant coil cords with polyurethane jackets using ETFE and polyester elastomer insulation compounds. We manufacture coil cords in many configurations including pairs, triads, and with several different shielding options. Our coil cords serve most standard commercial, consumer, industrial, and military applications.
Flat Festoon Cables
Cable USA offers a variety of flat festoon cables with an emphasis on abrasion-resistant flat festoon cables. We manufacture our flat festoon cables with ETFE insulation and use polyurethane and TPE/TPR (Santoprene) jacketing compounds. Shielding options are available, including a stainless steel braid.
Data-Processing DP-1P Cables Cable USA manufactures plenum rated data-processing Power Distribution and Grounding cables for applications used under the raised floor of a computer room. We manufacture the DP-1P cable in accordance with NEC Article 645, and other parts of the National Electrical Code marked and rated in compliance with UL 1690.
Military Cables
Cable USA offers a series of approved military cables for aerospace and navy applications. These cables meet the following military specifications: M22759 (/1-/4, /16-/19), M25038/1C, M27500, and MIL-W-16878 (/7-/13, /20-/22, /29-/35) cables.
Vented Sensor Cables
Cable USA's vented sensor cables are manufactured in numerous configurations. The vent tube is used for air supply, pressure sensing or equalization, and gas sampling. The vent tube compound can vary; however, nylon and polyethylene are the most common. The cables are insulated and jacketed with ETFE which offers a combination of excellent dielectric properties including heat resistance, flexibility, low coefficient of friction, low flammability, and performance at temperature extremes of -100°C to +150°C.
Pump Cables
Cable USA manufactures an array of pump cables. We specialize in abrasion-resistant pump cables that use ETFE and/or FEP for both insulation and jackets. Our pump cables are manufactured in a variety of configurations including round or flat, jacketed or non-jacketed, and shielded or non-shielded; including a stainless steel braid.
In-Flight Entertainment Cables
Cable USA manufactures entertainment cables for the interconnect wiring of aircraft in-flight entertainment systems. Whether for the retrofit or for the installation of systems during the manufacture of new aircraft, these systems must function in an environment that demands unique electrical and physical properties in their wiring systems. We have designed and developed special materials and production methods, assuring that the interconnect wiring will overcome the adverse effects of RFI and EMI while not compromising its size, weight, and durability. Our products are manufactured to the most demanding specifications and performance requirements, assuring that they meet or exceed FAA and airframe manufacturers' specifications. |

Circuit Integrity Cables
Our IntegraFlame® Circuit Integrity Cables (CIC) are preferred by Petrochemical plants and Refineries because they are the only 200°C FLEXIBLE cables on the market. They are specifically designed to maintain electrical integrity in those applications where exposure to a Hydrocarbon Fire with flame temperatures reaching 1093°C (2,000°F), could otherwise cause catastrophic failures, resulting in serious damage to property. In addition, IntegraFlame® Circuit Integrity Cables are uniquely engineered to withstand the effects of acids, alkalies, chemicals, moisture, oils, physical and mechanical abuses when jacketed with a Fluoropolymer such as ETFE, FEP, or PFA. |
